"Uncle Mike"

This was taken at my husband's Uncle Mike's wedding reception in L.A. in 1999. What I love most about this picture is Uncle Mike is the most low-key, easy-going kind of guy yet he looks so perturbed in this photo. My husband went up during a dance and this is the expression that was photographed.

this is a great one! I love the composition, and how you used thicker and darker lines in some areas for emphasis.
that's funny, because before i read your caption, i thought even though he looks perturbed, he seems like an easy going guy.
All us pony tale guys are easy going - ha. Thanks so much for continuing to draw. P.S. Glasses can be tricky things if we think of them as glasses instead of just another part of the person. You did a nice job of not over emphasizing them.
